Grading Practice Project
The Santa Cruz County Grading Practice Project is a group of administrators and teachers who come together monthly to examine current and best practices in grading that accurately reflect students’ content mastery. The group aims to better understand the current systems that are in place in order to illuminate inequities. Through this project, administrators and teachers examine data and research to explore successful grading models from other schools. The goal of the project is to provide educators with support to navigate the possible challenges of leading change in grading policy and to share best practices in equitable grading.
