Students & Parents

For Students

To prepare for their future, students need a plan and an idea of what their career goals are. Most career paths require some form of postsecondary education. In fact, by 2025 76% of all jobs will require some form of postsecondary education (Public Policy Institute of CA). To create a map to achieve their goals, students often need help to identify the steps they need to take to get there, and support along the way.

A map to postsecondary success and a future career can include career exploration, knowledge of what courses to take to be college ready, a search for colleges that are a good fit, and an idea of available resources to pay for college. These pages provide resources for students to create a map for their future and for family to support their students along the way.
